In this article, the role of water constructions in the traditional economic system of the Uzbek people, their types, procedures for using these water constructions, historical and ethnographic views regarding it are analyzed. In the article the author focuses on the protection of water constructions and emphasized the ethnographic aspects of the mechanisms of efficient use of water in its construction project.
