Annotatsiya

The author of the article analyzes the evolution of such a funeral rite as excarnation (cleansing bones from flesh). Notes that in the society of the early Iron Age, the attitude towards death and the dead was not strictly regulated, and also that in cult-religious ideas there was no constant relationship between the worlds of the living and the dead. Indicates that changes in funeral rites in the early Iron Age were directly related to nature, namely to the idea of the revival of the human principle.
