This article provides scientific coverage of the “new Turkistan” magazine published in Istanbul based on archival funds, national and foreign periodical press information. This magazine, one of the publications created by Turkestan settlers living in Istanbul, not only promoted ideas of political independence but also became a platform for education and struggle, serving the spiritual awakening of the Turkestan people. A scholarly analysis has shown that, from its very first issue, Yangi Turkestan addressed themes such as Turkestan's independence, national awakening, awareness of historical identity, and the unity of the Muslim world.
