The structure, composition and some physico-chemical properties of the nanocomposite basedon the mixture of natural polyamide base and FeO filler were studied using elemental analysis,IR-spectroscopy, X-ray phase analysis, quantum-chemical calculations, thermal analysis, UVspectroscopy methods. Studies were conducted to study the chemical composition of the initialcomponents and compositions. The mole ratio of polyamide and iron particles filled into it wasdetermined. Based on the results of thermal analysis the temperatures of liquefier, decomposition, and thermal stability of the composite were studied. Changes in vibrationfrequencies of carbonyl and amino groups in the polyamide base were observed with the helpof the obtained IR-spectra. It was found that the stabilization of polyamide base by FeO occursthrough these groups.
