Motherhood is a positive experience for most women, however, the percentage of complications associated with pregnancy is high, maternal and child mortality is high in the republic. Pregnancy is not a disease, it is a physiological condition, so they do not require treatment. 85% of pregnancies are normal. Approximately 1,600 mothers die every day and, consequently, more than 500,000 die annually; eight million women suffer from pregnancy-related complications every year; millions of women suffer from disability resulting from pregnancy-related complications. 80% of all deaths occur due to the four main obstetric causes, but they can be avoided with simple, effective and inexpensive measures. The most optimal for each practitioner is the use of protocols, standards, algorithms that are developed on the basis of evidence-based data.
