Annotatsiya

L.N.Tolstoy played an important role in the development of Russian children's literature. The teacher-writer, who considered writing for children a civic duty of every writer, achieved a lot in his work. When Tolstoy opened and taught in his native village of Yasnaya Polyana in 1859, he experienced a shortage of textbooks and teaching aids for both students and teachers, as well as the fact that they did not meet modern requirements. He realized that fairy tales, stories, poems, parables and stories for children who are just starting to learn to read should be reflected in textbooks, and he did a good job.
