Relevance. Type 2 diabetes mellitus is relevant because it is widespread and leads to early disability and death. Along with chronic hyperglycemia, impaired fat metabolism causes irreversible changes in a number of organs and the vascular system. This leads to the early development of diseases of the cardiovascular system, which dramatically reduces the patient's quality of life. Purpose. Assessment of the risk of cardiovascular diseases by the level of glycemia in patients with type 2 diabetes. Materials and methods. Analysis of anamnestic heart rate indicators by glycemic indices in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus. Conclusion. Glycemic control and prescribing cardioprotective sugar-lowering drugs to prevent the development of coronary heart disease. Relevance.
