This article is based on the results of an experimental scientific study conducted on 120 six-month-old outbred white rats. During the study, morphological changes in the adrenal glands were identified in rats exposed to carbon monoxide. Following chronic exposure to carbon monoxide, the structural alterations in adrenal gland tissue were subjected to correction using the plant Asparagus officinalis. The obtained results have practical significance and may contribute to solving and preventing current endocrine-related problems, which represent one of the urgent directions of modern medicine.
