An analysis of clinical and laboratory data was conducted on 210 patients with moderate and severe forms of COVID-19 hospitalized in the clinic of the Samarkand Regional Specialized Medical Center in the period 2020-2022. Clinical and laboratory manifestations of COVID-19 associated with pneumonia were characterized by a moderate form in 47% of cases and a severe form of the disease in 53% of cases; female patients were more common than male patients; the age of over 50 years was significantly higher. Moreover, in 73.8% of cases, patients had concomitant pathology (coronary heart disease, hypertension, diabetes mellitus, chronic pyelonephritis, obesity), and concomitant diseases were detected in patients with a severe form of the disease 1.7 times more often than in patients with a moderate form. SpO2 values ≤ 90% were observed in 61.54% of patients examined. 88.5% of patients were discharged after recovery, 7.6% were transferred to the internal medicine department, 2.4% were transferred to the cardiology department, and 3 patients (1.5%) were transferred to the pulmonology department for continued treatment.
