Annotatsiya

The study of 50 patients with various forms of renal tuberculosis was conducted using gray-scale echography, triplex, color, and energy dopplerography. The results showed that changes in renal blood flow are directly related to the degree of pathomorphological changes caused by tuberculosis. Spectral and energy dopplerography revealed increased blood flow in the foci of tuberculous infiltration. All forms of renal tuberculosis are characterized by an increase in peripheral vascular resistance due to the narrowing of vessels, their blockage, and loss of elasticity. Ultrasound angiography proved to be useful in the destructive forms of the disease to determine treatment strategies.
