The purpose of this study is to compare the nature of the clinical course of measles in children under one year of age who were breastfed with those who were bottle-fed. The clinical diagnosis of measles was established on the basis of epidemiological data, clinical picture and confirmed by laboratory tests using enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). The study found that the incidence of measles among children of this age who were breastfed was significantly lower, and the clinical course of the disease in this category was milder compared to children who were bottle-fed.
