The purpose of this article is that, despite the fact that the viral load above 2000 IU/ml in chronic viral hepatitis B plays a major role in the development of fibrotic processes in the liver, due to the fact that the development of fibrotic processes in the liver is observed even in cases where the viral load is below 2000 IU/ml, the contribution of the load in the development of fibrotic processes in the liver is subject to study. The authors compared the viral load and tried to prove that the development of fibrotic processes in the liver is not always directly related to the viral load. They emphasized that it is necessary to study and pay special attention to the influence of other factors on the development of fibrosis in the liver.
