It is very important for chickpea to germinate and produce stable seedlings in rainfed (non-irrigated, rainfed) areas. In rainfed conditions, due to limited moisture, uneven germination can negatively affect plant development and lead to reduced productivity. The biggest problem in rainfed areas is to maintain a sufficient number of healthy plants in the area.
