The article analyzes the correlations between economically important traits and grain quality indicators of 25 spring bread wheat varieties and lines. The results showed that grain yield was positively correlated with plant height, spike length, number of spikelets per spike, and 1000-kernel weight, while gluten content was positively correlated with spike length, number of spikelets, and protein content. The findings demonstrate the importance of correlation analysis in selecting promising genotypes for wheat breeding.
