The study evaluated the effects of row spacing and seedling density under mechanized transplanting on the growth, development, and growing period of the rice cultivars Sadaf and Iskandar. The 15×14–2 planting pattern with a density of 952 plants m⁻² was identified as the optimal treatment, resulting in a shorter growing period and earlier phenological development.
