The review touches upon modern information on cystic kidney diseases within the framework of the Bosniak M.A. classification, which covers all the various forms, from simple cysts to malignant ones. Literature data are provided regarding all these forms of cystic kidney tumors on their diagnosis and treatment methods. The diagnostic advantages of ultrasound, CT and puncture biopsy are indicated. Treatment is determined individually in accordance with their forms.
