The article examines verbs that can take a sentential complement, or in other terminology, a predicate actant, and also pays attention to the nominal predicate in semantic syntax constructions, describing predicate verbs of various lexical and grammatical types. The article considers predicate attributes combined with the verb word and their unequal correlation in sentences of different communicative types.
