This article presents a comparative pragmatic analysis of forms of address in Arabic and English within the context of modern communication. The study explores the relationship between address forms, speech etiquette, politeness strategies, and cultural values. The theoretical framework draws on pragmatics and politeness theories, particularly the politeness model proposed by Brown and Levinson. The findings reveal that Arabic forms of address are closely linked to social hierarchy and collective orientation, whereas English address practices emphasize individual autonomy and discursive flexibility. Forms of address are conceptualized as key pragmatic tools for regulating social relations in contemporary communication.
