Annotatsiya

Conversion process of energy of solar radiation into electricity is analyzed from point of view of mass, charge and energy transport. It is shown that, as in all other kinds of energy sources, there are limitations for conversion efficiency of photoelectric converters (PEC) of solar radiation, caused by internal resistance for transport process. As a result, essential part of primary energy turns into heat and dissipated to environment. So efficiency of PEC can be improved by cascade connection and second cascade as well as consequent ones should be only thermoelectric units using the waste heat of first cascade. It is shown as well that there is current feedback in PEC which makes impossible to work in the conductions of maximum power. The physical origin of this feedback is not established yet and that is restriction to design the PEC of higher efficiency.
