The article also includes classifications based on the prohibition of discrimination enshrined in international documents. One group includes international human rights documents of a general nature, which include the prohibition of discrimination, along with other issues of human rights protection. Another group consists of documents whose main purpose is to prohibit one or another type of discrimination at the international level. At the same time, despite the fact that the prohibition of discrimination has become a universally recognized principle of international law, scholars point out that there is no uniform approach to the concept of "discrimination" either in the doctrine of international law or in the practice of states. The analysis of foreign experience shows that in the development and implementation of Uzbekistan's national action plans to combat discrimination, it is necessary to more clearly and fully reflect the prohibition of discrimination in legal documents, and to define the range of persons who should be protected from discrimination. A comprehensive approach is needed, consisting of measures to improve the definition, as well as the introduction of tougher sanctions for committing discrimination.
