This article is devoted to current problems of juvenile delinquency, covering the dynamics of juvenile delinquency, its features, categories of personality of a minor offender, and the organization of juvenile delinquency prevention. Based on statistical data, the structure of juvenile crime was analyzed; during the study, the most common crimes committed by minors were identified as murder, intentional infliction of bodily harm, slander, robbery, theft, assault and hooliganism, the author has also developed relevant proposals and recommendations for improving measures to prevent juvenile delinquency.
