This article examines the analysis of psychological and pedagogical foundations of the formation of cognitive competencies, considering key theoretical concepts and practical approaches. The article presents both fundamental theoretical provisions and applied aspects of the organization of the educational process that promotes the development of cognitive competence at various levels of education. Recommendations are offered for teachers and researchers interested in improving the effectiveness of the formation of cognitive competencies in students.
