The article deals with the implementation of the rights to a healthy environment of citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Karakalpakstan, the legal framework of Uzbekistan on Environmental Protection. In addition, proposals have been developed for the Republic of Uzbekistan to join the Arhus Convention on access to information, public participation in decision-making and access to justice in environmental matters.
