This article is devoted to the issues of modern diplomacy, the diplomatic service and diplomatic law in the period of globalization. It considers the concept and various forms of diplomacy, features of the diplomatic service, sources of diplomatic law, diplomatic law sub-sectors. The proposals and recommendations are formulated by practical importance for further improvement of the national legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the field of diplomatic law.
