One of the main ways to ensure quality control of research results is to test the technical competence and qualifications of forensic laboratory staff through proficiency testing or interlaboratory comparison tests. This article analyzes the means and procedures for ensuring the reliability of results in accordance with the requirements of the ISO / IEC 17025: 2017 standards, in particular, conducting proficiency testing and interlaboratory comparative tests in forensic laboratories.
