The article describes the priorities in the activities of all branches of government of the Republic of Uzbekistan, which are the provision and protection of constitutional rights and freedoms of man and citizen, adherence to the democratic path of development, which provides for further liberalization of all aspects of the life of the state and society, including criminal procedure legislation. The stages and stages of working with evidence and participants in the proof are also disclosed, the current state, frequency and efficiency of the procedure for the production of investigative actions are analyzed. The author presents the results of the study and determination of the list of investigative actions, which are substantiated by theoretical arguments and supported by the opinions of practitioners. Studied foreign criminal procedural legislation and the practice of conducting investigative actions through the prism of improving legislation and criminalistic tactics of their conduct in the process of proving. Recommendations for ensuring the safety of participants in investigative actions were analyzed and developed, as well as the procedure for the seizure of information in electronic form contained on electronic computers and electronic media during a search or seizure. An analysis of the materials of criminal cases was carried out, in which the frequency of the production of investigative actions was studied and proposals were worked out to include in the Criminal Procedure Code definitions of each individual investigative action.
