The article reveals the criminal law characteristics and some features of the qualification of crimes committed in the field of economic activity. Criminal legal norms providing for liability for the crimes in question protect the totality of social relations that develop in the field of economic activity. The legal analysis of this group of crimes (section III of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan) is now of particular relevance, due to the intensive growth of economic relations, which predetermined the content of this article.
