In this article, one of the natural sedative medicinal plants, similar to synthetic drugs in terms of chemical composition and mechanism of action, is the leaf of valerian (Valeriana L). The results of determining the amount of macro- and microelements in Valerian root extract by AVIO 200 (ISP-OES) optical emission spectrometric method are presented in our study.
