Annotatsiya

Numerical calculation was used to analyze the generation of the third harmonic in argon gas. The duration of the main pulse was chosen to be 5 fs. The role of gas ionization and high-order dispersion effects (up to 3-rd) is studied. The main emphasis is made to study the change in the efficiency of this nonlinear optical process under the influence of dispersion and ionization effects.
