The article provides a comparative analysis of the norms of the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan on the prevention and reduction of statelessness with the norms of international law. Conflicts and legal gaps in our national legislation have been identified and scientifically substantiated proposals and recommendations have been made to eliminate them.
