CT of the temporal bones was necessary to determine the pneumatization of the middle ear cavities and the bony part of the auditory tube and the presence of a cavity, bone destruction, and liquid content. Also, the modern method of studying the temporal bone in children and adolescents with chronic suppurative otitis media, the use of CT, which made it possible to obtain comprehensive information with high accuracy, is currently the leading element in further surgery and social rehabilitation of children.
