The article discusses the importance of cultural heritage sites in Uzbekistan in the development of historical and cultural tourism, which is an important aspect of general tourism, and its composition. The work and measures carried out in our country to develop historical and cultural tourism are discussed, as well as the importance of this direction in the development of pilgrimage and gastronomic tourism. The classification, protection, reconstruction of cultural heritage sites and the experience of China in this regard are also discussed.
