Annotatsiya

As countries and peoples across the world become increasingly integrated, interest is growing in studying the literary works of different nations and, through them, in learning about ways of life, cultures, customs, traditions, and rituals. The expansion of such efforts and the rapid development of cultural relations underscore the importance of translators – especially literary translators. Because literary texts embody aesthetic value, incorporate lexis associated with other functional styles and genres, and make active use of diverse figurative devices and language units with connotative meanings, they remain a principal focus of global translation studies. From this perspective, preparing professional literary translators, teaching literary translation to future translators, and cultivating a range of professional and distinctive creative competencies are of pressing relevance.
