The article emphasizes the importance of children's folklore in folklore studies, due to its richness and thematic diversity. It examines national features of rhymes in teaching children correct pronunciation. Each of them has its own characteristics, genesis, foundations of tradition, manner of performance, artistry, figurative world and structure of motives. It is reported that correct pronunciation of children is a whole system of games, songs and rhymes that arose in the process of interaction of the children's world with the world of adults.
