This article analyzes the experience of using three modern virtual learning platforms (Duolingo, ImmerseMe, and Replika) in studying the topic “Describing Places” in English. The methodological advantages of each platform, their technological capabilities, and their role in developing learners’ language skills (vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, oral communication), as well as the possibilities of their application in the educational system, are examined. Duolingo offers a gamified and leveled learning structure; Replika provides real and personalized conversations based on artificial intelligence; ImmerseMe creates an interactive learning experience in a cultural context through an immersive VR environment. Together, they contribute to the formation of a personalized learning environment tailored to students’ individual needs. Moreover, through an integrated approach, opportunities are demonstrated for comprehensive development of language skills related to the topic of describing places. In particular, competencies such as reinforcing vocabulary, applying grammatical structures in context, automatic pronunciation analysis, conducting real and personalized dialogues, and analyzing cultural elements are gradually developed within this approach. Based on the results of this experience, the article proposes an advanced, modern, and innovative methodological model for foreign language learning through the use of information and communication technologies.
