Modern reforms carried out in Uzbekistan in the higher education system, including in the medical field, are aimed at moving from a traditional theoretical model of education to a competence-based approach focused on practical training of specialists. Interactive educational technologies are becoming an effective tool in the formation of these competencies. This article is devoted to the methodology of using interactive approaches in medical education as a means of improving the quality of professional training for students. Purposes: to analyze and substantiate an effective methodology for the development of professional competencies among medical university students through the introduction of interactive educational technologies. The methodological basis was formed by interactive educational technologies using the "ABCDE" algorithm in order to form the socio-pedagogical orientation of diagnostic and preventive skills among future doctors. The method of questionnaire and statistical analysis was used. It has been revealed that the use of interactive forms of learning using the ABCDE algorithm contributes to a deeper assimilation of professional knowledge, the development of clinical thinking, communication and ethical skills. An increase in the level of students' involvement in the educational process and readiness for practical activities was noted. Training based on the use of interactive methods using the ABCDE algorithm effectively develops the skills of future pediatricians to assess the clinical situation, improves the training of future doctors for the early detection of risk factors and the development of a preventive action plan, a systematic assessment of children's health through a socio-pedagogical approach.
