This article describes the conceptual differences between English and Uzbek values as reflected in their respective linguistic structures. It analyzes how language serves as a mirror of cultural values, social expectations, and cognitive worldviews in each community. The study highlights how the English language often emphasizes individualism, directness, and time-consciousness, whereas the Uzbek language reflects collectivism, indirectness, and respect for age and hierarchy. By examining vocabulary, idiomatic expressions, and speech etiquette, the article identifies how value systems are embedded in everyday language use. The research also discusses the implications of these conceptual differences for cross-cultural communication, language teaching, and intercultural understanding. Furthermore, it emphasizes the significance of language in shaping and preserving cultural identity. Through comparative linguistic analysis, this article provides valuable insights for language learners, educators, and translators who engage with English and Uzbek linguistic and cultural contexts. The analysis includes areas such as politeness strategies, pronoun usage, idiomatic expressions, metaphors, and proverbs.
