The article is devoted to identifying cultural signs in phraseological units in English, Russian and Karakalpak languages. It examines the features of expressions that serve as the subject of research in linguaculturology using authentic materials that present national and cultural characteristics of the English, Russian and Karakalpak languages. In addition, the article provides examples of proverbs and sayings as a sign of language culture. Other cultural signs and elements are rituals, myths and standards that reflect national and cultural features in English, Russian and Karakalpak languages. In this article, the subject of a special study of linguaculturology are factors conditioned by behavior that is enshrined in nominative, grammatical and stylistic units, such as stereotypes, traditions, speech etiquette, images, and comparisons. Based on the given examples, we can consider the differences in cultural signs and speech in English, Russian and Karakalpak languages.
