The article deals with the art text as an object of philological research, which allows to under-stand the originality and complexity of the language of the work, the creativity of the writer, shed-ding light on various aspects of the verbal and figurative structure of such a complex object as the language of the art text. Comprehension of the text as a reflection of the writer's individual consciousness requires the involvement of extralinguistic factors. The peculiarity and individuality of the artistic text is conditioned by the uniqueness of the creative personality, peculiarities of the author's individual style.
