This article studies the lexical-semantic structure of phraseological units related to health, illness and treatment in English and Uzbek using a comparative method. The main attention is paid to the phenomena of synonymy (similarity of meaning) and antonymy (opposition), and analyzes the similarities and differences of phraseological units in two languages. The study uses contrastive linguistics, semantic analysis and component methods to show the relationship of phraseological units in the field of health with language and culture. Phraseological dictionaries, corpora and texts related to healthcare of both languages ​​were analyzed as materials for the article. The results show that phrases on the topic of health and illness in English and Uzbek can differ structurally, semantically and pragmatically, but they also have universal and national characteristics.
