This article analyzes the zoolatry (animal world) views of the Uzbek people from a historical, philological and ethnographic perspective. In the article, the author focuses on the animals that play an important role in the daily life of the Uzbek people, their functions, views related to them, zootoponyms, and religious and secular interpretations of views related to this cult.
