This article examines the problems of globalization, which is deepening throughout the world throughout the 21st century, which in its scale and influence poses a threat to the national spirituality and culture of the peoples of developing countries and creates the basis for their destruction under the influence of “mass culture”. The author draws attention to the need to form in the minds of our youth from childhood a sense of respect for national and universal values in order to prevent these dangers and prevent the formation of a spiritual vacuum in their minds. The article emphasizes the enormous importance of cooperation between educational institutions, families, mahallas, ideological education based on national and universal values in the development of young people, who make up almost 65 percent of the population of Uzbekistan. The author emphasizes that the only sure way to protect oneself from the negative impact of globalization and “mass culture” is for each person to be aware of their identity, deeply understand their ancient history and rich culture, the heritage of their great ancestors, take a conscious look at today’s rapidly changing realities of life, think independently, live with a sense of involvement in all the changes in our country and in the spirit of patriotism.
