This article is devoted to the ethnocultural interpretation of phraseological units formed on the basis of ethnocultural views of the people in the Uzbek and English languages. The article illustrates through examples that phraseological units are a source of information about the culture of a particular people and a vivid language unit expressing the national-cultural linguistic culture.
