This article examines the influence of mixed-mode strategies—combining traditional face-to-face and digital learning approaches—on students' English as a Foreign Language (EFL) comprehension. The integration of synchronous and asynchronous tools, collaborative learning environments, and adaptive learning platforms has transformed EFL instruction. This study reviews theoretical and empirical research to evaluate the effectiveness of mixed-mode strategies in enhancing EFL comprehension. It explores their impact on vocabulary acquisition, listening and reading skills, and intercultural competence, highlighting both the opportunities and challenges in implementing these strategies.
