Annotatsiya

This article examines the Bronze Age cultures of Central Asia and the history of their study. The research is divided into three stages: the initial stage began in the late 19th – early 20th century, while systematic studies were conducted during the Soviet period. By the 21st century, new approaches have emerged with the development of modern archaeological technologies. The article provides information on the Bactria-Margiana Archaeological Complex (BMAC) and its significant sites.
