This article analyzes the scholars who worked during the Khorezmshah Mamunid period and their contributions to the development of Eastern musical art. In particular, the treatises and practical achievements of Abu Ali Ibn Sina, Muhammad ibn Yusuf al-Khwarizmi, Fakhruddin Razi, and other scholars in the field of music theory are examined. The scientific legacy of the Mamun Academy and its role in the advancement of musical science are also discussed.
