This article examines the functional features of verbs in expressing positive wishes in the Khorezm dialects of the Uzbek language. Based on dialectal data, it analyzes the grammatical, semantic, and pragmatic functions of the imperative-optative mood, the archaic suffix -γaj/-gäj, as well as simple, compound, and paired verb forms. The findings demonstrate that verbs constitute one of the principal linguistic means of expressing positive wishes, blessings, and good intentions in the Khorezm dialects.
