This article analyses the trends and strategic potential of collaboration between Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan in education and science from 1991 to 2025. The study thoroughly investigates the dynamics of network interactions across institutions, markers of academic mobility, and the establishment of collaborative scientific laboratories. Particular emphasis is placed on the outcomes of the integration of research and education realised post-2020, attributable to the political resolve of the leaders of the two nations, grounded on statistical evidence. The article concludes with practical proposals for establishing a cohesive educational environment in Central Asia.
