Annotatsiya

This article analyzes the compositional structure of narratives in 14th-century Uzbek literature using the examples of Qissasi Rabg‘uziy and Nahjul farodis. The study examines how narratives are structured into introduction, development of events, climax, resolution, and conclusion, as well as their religious-educational and moral-didactic functions. It is shown that in Qissasi Rabg‘uziy, narrative features such as plot development and imagery are more prominently expressed, whereas in Nahjul farodis, moral instruction, religious interpretation, and ethical conclusions take precedence. The results of the study confirm that these two works serve as important sources for understanding the formation and development of the narrative genre in 14th-century Turkic-Uzbek literature.
