This article is devoted to the policy of the Soviet government in the framework of scientific research tasks in the field of agriculture in the Uzbek SSR. The paper analyzes the activities of the state breeding station, in particular, the coordination and direction of scientific research in the field of grain and the study of foothill areas. The study proves that the institute has contributed to increasing grain production, improving its quality and introducing new technologies. The paper also analyzes the problems associated with the activities of this research institute.
